Wow, Long Beach International Quilt Festival was quite a show. Of course, it was made much more exciting by having both a quilt and a photograph in the show. My photo finally made it to Long Beach. It was accepted last year for "The Eye of the Quilter" digital photo exhibit. It went first to Houston, then Chicago, then Long Beach. I wonder if they will give me the copy of the photo that was on display. It was submitted digitally by email. The funny thing about it, it has been hung upside down at all three shows. It is a photo that doesn't really matter, except I know the sunlight was coming from the top, not the bottom!

At Long Beach, I took Noriko Endo's class on silk naturescapes. It was so much fun. In the morning we dyed silk, and in the afternoon we created a small quilt from the silk we dyed. I can't post a photo, because my daughter took the quilt as soon as she saw it, and it wasn't even bound yet. I'll try to get it back long enough to take a picture.
